Athletics

Research Interests

My main research interests are focused on the plasticity of the nervous system, how it changes following normal activity or following injury. I use the goldfish, zebrafish, and crayfish primarily since these systems show axonal regeneration, accessible higher brain centers, stereotyped behavior to use to examine underlying neural circuitry and biochemisty, and ease for undergraduate projects.
